Moving Sanctuary Drop-In Classes

Experience a guided movement journey to the home of your body and your deeper Self.

Would you like to be more connected with yourself? Reconnecting with our embodied selves is a natural and often deeply healing and nourishing experience many of us are called to cultivate. 


The movement journey includes embodiment practices to support you in finding more grounding, presence, rejuvenation, and connection with the wisdom of your body and deeper Self. It is an opportunity to lovingly and playfully reconnect with your embodied being and to be in a community of other like hearted movers. 


The journey weaves together conscious dance, dance/movement therapy and meditation. It is suited for both people who are new to conscious dance and to experienced movers alike. Please find a Self-Care Agreement here.

Each gathering contains: 
a theme listed below,
a guided movement journey with dance/movement therapy and conscious dance,
space to connect with your experience with drawing, journaling or other arts,
a sharing circle to share your experience with others


Workshop themes include:
The Ground of our Being: find a gentle space to connect with body sensations, find grounding, connect with body wisdom to hear own needs, grow in self-compassion, enjoy your own dance to be, feel nourished ad receive what you need
Finding Your dance: arriving home into the body, gently finding more freedom for your unique expression in a non-judgmental space, hearing the voice of your deeper being
Emotions and embodied ways to reduce stress: becoming more aware of your feelings, needs and embodied ways to reduce stress in a playful and supportive space
Hearing the voice of your soul/deeper being for living in greater alignment with yourself and with Life.
