Embodied Counselling and Psychotherapy


Are you feeling disconnected from yourself and are longing to connect with and live more as an expression of your authentic true self and experience more fulfillment in your life?

People may grow out of connection with themselves for many reasons. For some it may be being raised by caregivers who were not emotionally attuned, cultural influences, or doing our best navigating the busy pace and pressures of life. Growing out of touch with ourselves might look like having learned to ignore own needs, pushing past own limits, doubting our inner knowing, or other habits learned in the past that are now keeping us from living in our full potential.

Our bodies have innate wisdom to lead us back into connection with ourselves. Counselling can offer a warm, attuned and compassionate support for gently reconnecting with your inner embodied knowing. This may include becoming more aware of your emotions, needs, boundaries, sensing more clearly what you want and do not want, hearing the desires of your heart and the voice of your soul or deeper being. Our work together can also include bringing awareness to patterns and beliefs that no longer support you and discovering new authentic and life giving habits and beliefs that would support you in living the life you desire. 

If you are a soulful person or a spiritual seeker, counselling can also be a space to connect with the embodied experience of your deeper self/essence/being, including connecting with inner wholeness and radiance.

I offer a specialization in somatic or body-based therapy. Other therapies including Mindfulness and Dance/Movement therapy can be incorporated in our work together as well.
